🇨🇳 Chinese:
I listened to 2 to 3 podcast eps and wrote 2 journal entries. The rest of the time I did immersion watching native content while having meals throughout the week. One thing I am glad I did was record my myself reading a text in chinese. I listened to it and there were parts that sounded great like the tones and everything and it is made me so happy.
The Fear of Starting a New Language
This year I started learning a new language which is French. I have no specific reason why I'm learning—not for exams, work or school. I remember wanting to learn French when I was in school and never had a chance to. And recently I watched a song in French and it kind of sparked my interest. Even still I didn't like the idea of getting into a new langua…
🇫🇷 French:
I continued to finish a lesson in Assimil French book. I am taking it slow with another book because I only want to move on after I understand the topics completely. I also recorded reading a textbook dialogue in French which was included in this week’s tasks. The rest of the French studies was done on flashcards. I realized there are specific words that I struggle memorizing especially the short words like aù, à , ces, etc. I need to somehow memorize them and be able to differentiate them soon.

🇯🇵 Japanese:
I did not accomplish much in Japanese though I spent about 7h going through Genki 1, reading a beginner level story and the rest on Kanji App.
ðŸ‡ðŸ‡° Cantonese:
I watched a vocab video fully in Cantonese and did not understand a word without subs. Now that I think I could have at least used Duolingo just to stay in touch with the language.
