📊 Week 14 Stats:
Chinese: 9h 52m
French: 5h 6m
Japanese: 3h 23m
Cantonese: 21m
Total time logged/week: 18h 43m
🇨🇳 Chinese:
I started by reviewing HSK5 lesson vocab and continuing to do workbook questions in which I scored 25/28. However, I have not completed the workbook questions. I wrote 2 journal entries and recorded reading a text from a podcast script. The rest of the time I listened to podcasts, watching native content and HSK vocabulary lessons.
🇫🇷 French:
I finished a lesson in Assimil French then I recorded speaking the lesson text. It was pretty hard than the previous lesson. And this week I listened to a lot of French speaking videos and I was able to understand the context. I felt very happy and continued to watch more videos. Also, this week I continued with French pronunciation lessons.
🇭🇰 Cantonese:
I used Duolingo🦉 this week to stay in touch with Cantonese. I took time to watch a video in full Cantonese and without subs, I might not have understood the very little I did.
🇯🇵 Japanese:
I continued reading the story in Japanese and reviewed Kanji on Kanji App. Like French, I took time to listen to Japanese podcasts🎧 and was able to make out a lot of words. I felt motivated and so continued listened to few more podcasts in Japanese. I also had time to do some genki lessons.
🫶🏼 Exciting News (a happy one):
Last week, my family and I welcomed my little nephew 👶🏻. And I’ve been busy like never before. I barely had any time to study or log anything by the end of the week. Hence, the posts are coming out at random days.
I would call this week “perfect” because of the little one🥰. I also took this time to unwind and rest. I very much expect that the coming week(s) are going to be little to very slow with respect to language studies.
