Note: I totally forgot I had this drafted and missed to publish in May, so so sorry, this is coming in at an untimely manner, but seeing this now (in september) makes me happy, the post itself is so cheerful to me, like all the small goals I had for myself and trying to accomplish them every week. anyways, i just hope you enjoy reading this post as much as i enjoyed creating it. Happy studying! :)

🇨🇳 Mandarin Chinese:
🏁 Goals for this week:
HSK workbook (WB) 1 lesson✨️
HSK textbook (TB) vocabulary revision⭐️
Listen to 1 podcast⭐️
I did revision of lesson 3 in HSK5上 TB so I can get to workbook smoothly. But when I started the WB, it was not as I expected. Previously, when i did 2 lessons I did an ok job in all 3 parts — 听力, 书写, 阅读。This time, the outcome was not what I expected. I fully finished the 听力 and 书写 part and I made mistakes in both the parts. Maybe I was distracted but I feel like I need to go over it again later. For listening, I listened to two podcast episodes in Chinese.
Rest of the time was spent on watching native content almost without captions.
🇨🇵 FRENCH:
🏁 Goals for the week:
Listening practice - 1 video⭐️
Pronunciation lessons⭐️
French Textbook 5 lessons⭐️
Vocabulary flashcards❌️
For listening, I watched 2 youtube videos and 1 live replay of a french lesson (French with Alexa).
As for the pronunciation lessons - went through them as usual, 1 per day.
Coming to my French textbook, I planned to do 5 lessons this week instead of 6 but I figured out that the lessons were getting a bit harder, and to be focusing on all aspects of a language — listening [ sounds, pronunciation, liaisons], reading [ grammar, vocabulary, conjugations], speaking [ shadowing, forming own sentences], writing[ conjugations, forming own sentences] has become a challenge. Unfortunately, I was only able to complete 4 leçons. I still consider it done because I am going to study it in one way or the other.
I very much want to do flashcards because I remember and recognize words I studied using flashcards and I find them pretty useful. And sadly, I was not able to find time to sit going through flashcards.
🇯🇵 JAPANESE:
🏁 Goals for the week:
Vocabulary ⭐️
Reading a story/ news article⭐️
Listening practice-1 video ⭐️
Kanji ❌️
Genki 1 WB - 1 lesson ⭐️
Genki 1 TB - 1 lesson ⭐️
I went through few pages of N5 level vocabulary for 5 or 6 days. Then, I've been wanting to read something in Japanese this week and I read a news article on a pavilion in Osaka. There were many words I didn't know which was expected at my level.
Like French, I was not able to do Kanji flashcards. On the other hand, I finished Genki 1 TB and WB exercises for 1 lesson each, lesson 1 and lesson 9 respectively.
For listening, I watched a Japanese podcast for beginners, first without captions and the next time with captions.
